  • MFI warrants to consumers purchasing multi-family residential unit installation work in conjunction with the purchase of broadloom carpet, resilient sheet flooring, luxury vinyl plank, or luxury vinyl tile that such work will be performed in accordance with industry standards, practices, and manufacturer specifications. If the workmanship does not meet these standards and the product fails within 3 years as a result of installation error, we will, at our option:

    • Repair the affected materials, or

    • Replace the affected materials with the same product, design, and color, or

    • If the original product is not available, supply an equivalent product of similar cost, color, and design to replace the affected areas.

    Timely notice is essential for successful repair. Any delay in reporting an issue that contributes to product failure may limit or void coverage under our warranty. Please report any issues promptly to your MFI Sales Representative or MFI Customer Service.

  • MFI warrants the installation of all other flooring products not included in the 3 year installation warranty for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of installation. These products include, but are not limited to:

    • Carpet tile

    • Broadloom Commercial Carpet

    • Luxury Vinyl Plank

    • Laminate flooring

    • All products installed in either a commercial or single-family application

    • No warranty will apply in lieu of the manufacturer’s warranty for product failure or defects caused or resulting from the manufacturer.

    • Dissatisfaction due to improper maintenance.

    • Burns, stains, cuts, lack of or improper floor protectors, and damage caused by other abuse or accidents.

    • Seams are not guaranteed to be invisible but will be made in a professional, workmanlike manner.

    • This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties.

    • MFI will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages of any kind, no matter what the cause.

    • Any work for which payment has not been made in full and within terms.
